Today we embark on a full day tour to The Ruins of Saint Ignacio. This tour combines a visit to the ruins of the old Jesuit missions, located at 169 miles south of Iguazú, with a visit to the Mines of Wanda. These mines are admired for the unique variety of natural designs and colors of semi-precious stones such as agates and amethysts.

After the tour your overnight accommodations are in a typical ranch of the Mesopotamia. (Full board and accommodations)

Day 5 - Posadas / Esteros del Ibera (Ibera Marshlands)

After the 3 hr travel from the ranch, we arrive in the Iberá Marshlands: located in Corrientes province. This environment consists of a great number of hectares of small lakes, swamps and bogs, all of which make a singular ecosystem that allows the survival of turtles, monkeys, alligators, deer, and capybaras, in addition to over 400 species of different birds.

Esteros del Iberá is the place for adventurers and nature lovers alike! We'll embark on several boat Safaris on Lake Iberá during the morning and evening hours exploring this vast ecosystem in awe of its natural beauty. While the boat glides gently amongst the floating vegetation, the proximity of wild inhabitants is breathtaking. You will be accompanied by a local wildlife expert to guide us through the dynamic landscapes and assist us with identifying wildlife.

Just as the sun begins to dive into the endless horizon, water and sky are gleaming in intensive red and gold auras that help to complete this perfect demonstration of Mother Nature's ability to overwhelm our senses.
