Day 1
Upon arrival in Lima, meet and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2
Enjoy a buffet breakfast to start the day.
Then embark on a private half day tour of the city as well as the Larco Herrera Museum. The city tour includes a visit to colonial Lima’s downtown: go round the Main Square, where you can find the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and the Metropolitan City Hall, historic and traditional buildings. Then, get to know San Francisco church and monastery, a XVII century jewel, recognized as humanity cultural heritage by UNESCO. The tour continues to the modern district of San Isidro and ends in Miraflores, where you will have a view of the Pacific Ocean from the Parque del Amor (Love Park). Finally, visit the Larco Museum, a private collection that has the insuperable vistors inspiring collection of treasures from Old Peru, and allows visitors discover, understand, and enjoy more than five thousand years of ancient Peru’s history through more than 45,000 artifacts.

Day 3
Enjoy a buffet breakfast to start the day.
Then leave the hotel for the airport for your transfer to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure.

Day 4
Enjoy a buffet breakfast to start the day.
Your first day in Cusco consists of a private service tour of Huayllabamba village and its surrounding areas. The tour begins with an early morning bus drive to the head of our trail at Km 82 from where we continue along the Urubamba River to the first archaeological site "Llaqtapata". Here we can take a few moments to relax and enjoy lunch in a beautiful setting. Afterwards we continue into the side valley starting to gain altitude until we get to the last village Huayllabamba, where we camp.

Day 5

Your second day in Cusco consists of finalizing our visit in the Huayllabamba Village and continuing to Pacaymayo. After a healthy breakfast we start climbing up to the first pass "Warmiwańusca" (4200 Mt/ 14'200 Ft). The climb will take us most of the morning. From here we descend for about 2 hours into the valley to our next camp "Pacaymayo".

Day 6
Pacaymayo - Wiñaywayna
Today is going to be the most diverse day yet. We begin in the morning with the ascent of the second pass, "Runcuracay" (3900 Mt/ 13'800 Ft), and descend on the other side for about 2 hours to the beautiful archaeological site "Sayacmarca". After having explored this unique place we continue on the original stone path of the Incas through semi-tropical cloud forest onto the third pass "Phuyupatamarca" (3800 Mt/ 13'600 Ft). With good weather we'll have spectacular views of the surrounding snow peaks as well as the valley below. From here it is all downhill to our camp at "Wińaywayna" (one of the most beautiful sites in the area for its construction and setting).

Day 7
Wińaywayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco (private service)
Early after a tasty breakfast we hike another 2 hours through cloud forest to the famous sun gate "Intipunku". From there we can see the first breathtaking view and best panorama of the mysterious Machu Picchu. A short walk brings us down to the site. After refreshing a little we will visit "the lost city of the Incas" in a guided tour for app. 2 hrs. Finally, we'll descend by bus to the village of Aguas Calientes. After Lunch at Sanctuary Lodge we'll take the train back to train station and transfer by bus to Cusco and then to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 8
Enjoy a buffet breakfast to start the day.
After breakfast we embark on a private full day whitewater rafting trip. You'll experience an exciting rafting journey in the Sacred River of the Incas. You will be equipped with all of the necessary hardware, instruction, and expert instructors. The river's stages of difficulty vary from class I (a minimum) to class III (intermediate) rapids. Lunch is included.

Day 9
Enjoy a buffet breakfast to start the day.
At the scheduled time, transfer out to the airport for your return flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima, you will receive airport assistance to connect with your next flight.

POLICY OF LUGGAGE ON BOARD THE TRAIN
Train passengers are allowed 1 Bag weighing no more than 5 kg./11 lbs. and it the height or width of the bag may not exceed 62 inches/157 centimeters
This luggage policy is strictly enforced. Any luggage that does not meet the above criteria will not be allowed on the train. For these pieces, the following will apply:
- The passengers hiking the Inca Trail may seek permission from the UGM to load extra baggage through the Policy of Exceptional Flexibility.
- Other luggage would be transported to a luggage warehouse for pickup (refer to the table below for pickup times, pricing, and other details:

Additional Notes
- Archaeology / Anthropology Museum, National Museum and Huaca Huallamarca (Closed on Mondays).
- For your comfort, in the jungle we suggest bringing the following: long pants (no jeans), long sleeved shirt, shorts, t-shirts, rain gear, flashlight with extra bulb and batteries, sneakers, hiking boots, shower shoes, binoculars, camera, repellent, personal toiletries, sun glasses, sun block, rubber boots, bathing suit.
- Cathedral of Lima closed on Sundays.
- For passengers travelling from Peru or Bolivia to Brazil and Venezuela, the yellow fever vaccination is compulsory. Condor Tours & Travel is not responsible for any vaccination regulations.
- For hotel accommodation, in case of any cancellation or no show, 18% taxes shall be applied on the hotel's room rate.
