Today you begin with the Half Day White Adventure tour. We will pick you up at your hotel at approx. 9am for your transfer to Tierra Mayor Ski Resort. There, in the great snowy valley you embark on the second leg of your transfer via dog sled (3km). After crossing the valley you will enter the forest traveling along an old woodcutter's trail. The trail leads you to "Woodcutter's Shelter" (a small log shelter with wood burning heat). After saying your farewells to the Huskies, strap on the snowshoes and continue your guided trek (snow depths usually average approx. 1 meter) to Alvear icefalls. After reaching the icefalls you can enjoy a magnificent view at the panoramic point that overlooks the entire Tierra Mayor Valley (1 hour and 30 minutes).
Afterwards, return to the "Woodcutter's Shelter", this time the trek is downhill. Once you arrive at the shelter, warm up by the fire and enjoy some homemade cake and a mug of hot chocolate. After a moment to relax and get warm, strap on the snowshoes once more and return to Tierra Mayor Valley for your return trip back to Ushuaia (via vehicle)
Transfer to the local airport of Ushuaia for your return flight back to Buenos Aires. Transfer from the local airport to your hotel for overnight accommodations.
Transfer from the hotel to the international airport of Ezeiza for your return flight home or next destination. End of our services.
