Day 1


Arrive to Lima

- Transfer to hotel.

Day 2




- You will visit the Larco Museum, one of the most complete museums in Latin America, where the unsurpassed collection of Treasures of Ancient Peru is housed.

- This impressive collection inspires its visitors, making them discover, understand and enjoy - through more than 45,000 pieces - the more than five thousand years of history of Ancient Peru.

- One of the most striking exhibitions is that of ceramic pieces from the Mochica culture, which -due to its particular characteristics- is known as "erotic pottery". The amazing pieces of this extensive collection at the Larco Museum were collected, over the years, by Don Rafael Larco Hoyle, renowned scholar of our archaeological past and an avid collector.

Day 3


Lima, Sacred Valley

- Transfer to airport for flight to Sacred Valley. Arrive to Sacred Valley and transfer to hotel.


- See the village of Pisac, deep in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Here you can visit the colourful market, where local craftsmen sell alpaca textiles, silverware, ceramics and other products from the area.

- Visit to Chinchero, an enchanting town in the Sacred Valle of the Incas. There, you can learn traditional Andean weaving techniques preserved since the days of the Inca Empire and still used today.

- Make your own piece and take it home with you as a memento. Then on to Ollantaytambo, an Inca military, religious and agricultural centre built on a mountain summit. There you can see the narrow streets of the eponymous village, together with canals unchanged since the Inca Empire.

Day 4


Sacred Valley


- You will visit Misminay, a small community of 100 families, located at 3,700 meters above sea level, from where you can admire the landscape and the snow-capped mountains surrounding the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

- Upon arrival, the families of the community will give you a warm welcome with music and typical dance. Your hosts will share with you the traditional Andean lifestyle through participatory activities.

- You will get to know the local gastronomy through a delicious traditional dish prepared with local ingredients, which you will enjoy at lunch time cultural exchange experience.

- Return to your hotel.

Day 5


Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu


- A visit to one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu.

- The excursion starts with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit.

- When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos.

- Then it is back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch in a local restaurant.

Day 6


Machu Picchu, Cusco

OPTIONAL: Second Visity to Machu Picchu.

- Transfer to Ollantaytamboo station for trip to Cusco.

Day 7


Cusco, Puno


- This spectacular train trip starts in the historical city of Cusco and goes South, to Puno, by the side of Lake Titicaca.

- The glass windows on the Titicaca train will let you perfectly observe the beautiful landscape: the train slowly ascends to very high and cold places, around the magníficent Andes mountain range, over the deep Huatanay River valleys.

- Then, the train goes through the Andean plains, where you can see vicunas and alpacas grazing among the small villages along the road. The trip includes a stop at La Raya, the highest spot of the route, to observe the spectacular landscape at 4,300 meters above sea level.

- The trip includes a three course lunch on board.

Day 8




- In the morning, we will make a one-day tour to Lake Titicaca and, as first stop, we will visit the floating islands of the Uros, also known as People of the Lake.

- These islands are built out of layers of totora and are used as housing and trade centers for the native Uros. They travel on handicrafted rafts.

- We will go on with our tour to Taquile Island, where the community greets tourists very kindly, and keep their old style traditions, customs and colorful clothings. The islanders are skilled craftspeople and express in each piece astonishing techiniques developed by their ancestors for centuries.

- Box Lunch is included.

Day 9


Puno, Lima, Departing Flight


- Your excursion begins on the Panamerican Highway southbound and, when you reach Km marker 20, your driver will exit and take the road that connects Puno with Juliaca.

- This is the route to the Sillustani archeological site, whose appeal is the tall, stone burial towers, some of which stand 12 meters in height and are 7.5 meters in diameter. And with lovely Lake Umayo in the background, it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

- Transfer to airport for departing flight(s) home.
