The best way to see Peru in a small group. You will experience the highlights of Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley and the crown jewel of Peru, Machu Picchu! Travel Itinerary

Day 1


- Arrive in Lima, and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Lima

Day 2



- You will visit the modern and colonial parts of the city of Lima, the "City of Kings", starting in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro.

- The road passes a Huaca or sacred pre-Inca site. There will then be a stop at Parque del Amor (Lovers Park) in Miraflores for its magnificent view over the Pacific Ocean.

- The tour also includes the Historic Center on the Main Square, where the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop´s Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral are located.

- You will also visit one of the largest colonial-era convents.

Day 3


- Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco.

- Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

- Rest of the day at leisure to get used to the altitude.

Day 4



- You will head to Chinchero to visit the PARWA Center, where you can appreciate beautiful textiles and even buy some to take home.

- After, visit the Chinchero Church, continue with a visit to the ruins of Chinchero, where you will find an important Inca center in which terraces and aqueducts were built.

- Then, you will stop at the Racchi Viewpoint. From there, you will have a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

- Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you will head towards the town of Ollantaytambo, where you will find the imposing Inca fortress that bears the same name.

- Then, you will descend to the town of Ollantaytambo which stands out for still maintaining the Inca urban planning as part of his original urban layout, with some buildings and narrow stone alleys.

- You can tour the town and visit the local market.

- Transfer to board the train and travel to Machu Picchu.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu)

Day 5



- Today you will visit one of the most incredible sites of the world: Machu Picchu. You will be accompanied by a professional tour guide who will share all the history of this mysterious and enchanting place.

- Once the guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate.

- At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip.

Overnight in Cusco

Day 6






- The afternoon is set aside for a tour of the incredible colonial city, whose buildings the Spanish constructed on top of the foundations of Incan palaces.

- You begin at Korikancha, the Temple of the Sun, to witness the exquisite stonework achieved by the Incas.

- Next stop is the Main Square for a tour of the Cathedral to see its fabulous woodcarvings and impressive altars and the lovely Church of La Compañia de Jesus (Society of Christ).

- Next, head upwards to Sacsayhuaman, a fortress located in a strategic spot high above the city with a view that is absolutely stunning.

- You will also visit the archaeological complex of Kenko, and you will have a panoramic view of Puca Pucara.

Overnight in Cusco

Day 7


- Transfer to airport for departing flight home.
