Travel Itinerary

Day 1


- Arrive to Lima, and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Lima

Day 2


- The flavors of Peru are waiting for you. Embark on an unforgettable culinary adventure, beginning your tour at a typical Peruvian market.

- There you will find a broad variety of foods, such as traditional Peruvian fruit like cherimoya, lucuma and aguaymanto.

- If you love sea food, there is no doubt you will be surprised by the array of fish and shellfish available. Then you will visit an exclusive restaurant in Lima where you will learn to prepare pisco sours and ceviche, both of which Peru is known for.

- Finally, you will enjoy a delicious lunch with Peru’s most delicous dishes.

- The afternoon is at your leisure for exploration or relaxation.

- In the evening, you will visit the Larco Museum, one of the most complete museums in Latin America, which boasts an incomparable collection of treasures from ancient Peru.

- One of its most striking displays is of ceramic items from the Mochica culture, known, for reasons that will become clear, as "erotic pottery".

- At the end of the visit enjoy a delicious dinner in the museum's delightful restaurant.

Day 3


- Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco.

- You will be greeted at the airport and driven to the Sacred Valley where you will have lunch at the famous Wayra Ranch, and you’ll enjoy a Paso Horse Show while eating the best of Andean Cuisine.

- Then we continue on to Ollantaytambo, an Inca military, religious and agricultural center built on a mountain summit. There you can see the narrow streets of the village and canals unchanged since the Inca Empire. The evening will be at your leisure.

Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

Day 4


- You will be picked up from your hotel for a trip to the Piuray Lagoon, where your day of sport and adventure will begin.

- First you will choose between doing stand-up paddle boarding or kayaking.

- You will receive a safety talk and technical practice of paddling on land.

- Once in the water, you will become familiar with your board before you start activities. While moving through the lagoon, you can appreciate the great natural landscapes of the area.

- At the end of your experience on water, enjoy a snack surrounded by the beauty of the place.

- Continue to the Misminay community, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Upon arrival, the townspeople will give you a warm welcome with typical music and dances.

- Here, you will experience the Andean lifestyle up close. You will explore local cuisine through a wonderful cooking class, beginning with explanations of the planting and harvesting of products according to the season.

- Then, along with your hosts, you will prepare a delicious traditional dish using only local products, which you will enjoy for lunch. In the afternoon, your hosts will guide you with music and chants towards the Moray viewpoint, where you will have a privileged view of this important Inca agricultural center and the Sacred Valley.

- When this amazing cultural exchange experience is over, you will return to your hotel.

Day 5


- Set off for the Sacred Valley of the Incas, heading towards the town of Pisac to tour its impressive archaeological site on the mountain top.

- After the tour, you will descend to the town and spend some time in the local market, interacting with the people, observing the local identity, and doing a little shopping.

- Once you are finished shopping, we continue to Hacienda Sarapampa, a local place where time has not passed and the owners still produce tons of Andean Corn.

- You will enjoy a Farm to Table lunch made with their own organic products. Be ready to treat yourself!

Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

Day 6


- Transfer to the train station for a visit to one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu.

- The excursion starts with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit.

- When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will be, without a doubt, one of your most unforgettable experiences.

- At Machu Picchu you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos.

- Then,back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Dinner included at the hotel.

Day 7


- Morning at your leisure, or for an extra cost, an optional second visit to Machu Picchu is possible.

- Later, you will board the Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo and transfer to the hotel.

- If you choose, you can enjoy a luxurious dining experience at Cicciolina restaurant located in downtown Cusco.

- You will have the chance to sample some of the best national NovoAndean dishes. This is a place where you will feel completely at ease, since it has a very relaxed and welcoming environment.

- Its rustic wood and iron decorations as well as its colorful paintings enhance the beauty of this place.

- Enjoy the evening at leisure to explore the city.

Overnight in Cusco

Day 8


- Walking tour of Cusco, the imposing Imperial City, an example of the harmonious coexistence of the Andean and Spanish cultures.

- You will begin at the Koricancha, an ancient sacred space that the Incas dedicated to the worship of the sun and the moon, and over which the congregation of the Dominicans built the Santo Domingo temple.

- Then visit the Main Square, located across from the imposing Cathedral and the magnificent Jesuit Church, as well as other colonial buildings, which all together compose one of the most beautiful and captivating scenes in Peru.

- Next, you will have a gourmet cooking class at the Museum of Pre-Hispanic Art (MAP), in the beautiful courtyard of a colonial mansion.

- Afterwards, you will enjoy a delicious lunch in a sophisticated and agreeable atmosphere.

- In the afternoon, for an added cost, you can take a chocolate making class. Peru is a producer of many of the fine cacao varieties in the world, and you can learn all the steps of making chocolate, from the harvesting of the cacao in a plantation to the production of a chocolate bar. You will be able to take your own chocolate home.

Overnight in Cusco

Day 9


- Transfer to the airport for your departing flight.
